Hello my name is Amanda. I have always been passionate about hairdressing, I started my career in barbering after leaving school and now have almost 30 years experience. I learned the art of blending hair pieces and wigs in a traditional Barbers. I went onto qualify in levels 2, 3 and Salon management, also Diplomas in both ladies and gents advanced cutting and colouring. I also attended regular advanced courses at the L’oreal Institute London.

I have now added another skill to my repertoire, and I am proud to introduce myself as the affiliate mens hair replacement stylist Birmingham for Invisi Hair Replacement Systems Ltd. I believe in delivering a sensitive service for my hair loss clients, and offering high quality affordable solutions for them to continue an active life.

As part of my stylists work history I travelled to America where I worked in a few different salons, and where I attended courses at the Redken Institute New York which included courses on gents cutting and styling and ladies hairpiece and extension applications. I also had the opportunity to help prepare the models hair whilst on fashion shoots which included using different hair techniques. After 6 years I returned back to the UK to open my new Salon which I managed successfully for 11 years offering all areas of professional hair styling. Today I have created a Salon setting in my for clients to experience a relaxed and professional approach to there personal needs. I also do home visits if the client prefers. I find this service is particularly good for my hair restoration clients who generally prefer a discreet service rather than the busy salon setting. Amongst my clients I also attend to the needs of ladies requiring a wig service for a variety of health needs, for example, during and after chemotherapy causing temporary hair loss.
